PALMA.

Welcome to Palma, the vibrant capital of Mallorca. Nestled between the deep blue of the Mediterranean and the historic charm of its ancient walls, Palma is a city that moves at its own delightful pace.Whether you are here for a weekend escape or an extended sun-drenched holiday, Palma seamlessly blends rich history, world-class gastronomy, and a laid-back island lifestyle.

WHERE TO PARK IN PALMA

Parking in Palma de Mallorca can be tricky due to narrow streets and high demand, especially in the historic center. The city relies heavily on subterranean paid parking garages (which are secure and open 24/7) and blue-zoned street parking.

NEAR THE CATHEDRAL & WATERFRONT

Aparcament Parc de la Mar -  is an excellent municipal underground garage located directly beneath the seafront park, right in front of the cathedral.

Pros: Open 24 hours, highly convenient for central sightseeing, and easy to access directly from the main coastal road (Ma-19).

NEAR THE SHOPPING DISTRICTS & WEST CENTER

If you are heading towards Passeig del Born, Jaime III, or the Es Baluard museum, look for parking on the western edge of the center.

Parking Paseo Mallorca is a centrally located underground facility sitting right alongside the tree-lined torrent path.

Pros: Open 24 hours, spacious, and positions you perfectly for high-end shopping or accessing the western side of the old town.

NEAR TRANSIT HUBS & EAST CENTER

If you want to use public transportation to explore outside Palma or enter from the northern/eastern highways, parking near the main plaza is best.

Parking Plaza de España is directly under the city's central transport hub, where trains and buses depart for the rest of the island.

Pros: Open 24 hours, extremely central, and perfect if you plan to park your car and take the historic train to Sóller.
